RFP 4 Supplier RFI

SABA is preparing to launch its fourth collective SAF certificate procurement and invites suppliers to review and respond to an RFI.
Are you a sustainable aviation fuel supplier seeking to engage with SABA procurements?

SABA is developing its fourth collective procurement of SAF certificates and is conducting this RFI to better understand market conditions before the RFP design is finalized. Specifically, SABA is seeking supplier input on:

  1. Supply availability: Gauge expected SAF volume availability for 2028-2030
  2. Anticipated pricing:  Understand expected factors to influence SAFc pricing in 2028-2030
  3. Regionally specific sourcing information: Map regional supply to understand global availability and level of potential matching with SABA buyer preferences

The information gathered through this RFI will help SABA design an RFP that takes these market considerations into account. While all information provided through this RFI is non-binding and for market-scoping purposes only, greater pricing and volume transparency will be important to confirm alignment with buyer budgets and demand expectations.

Individual responses collected through this RFI may be aggregated and anonymized in order to publicly share key findings that have the potential to inform RFP development. Aggregated findings require a minimum of four data points and will not provide information that could reasonably identify a specific producer or facility.

Supplier responses are due on August 21st, 2026 and should be sent to SABARFP@gmacenter.org.

RFI respondents are expected to be able to supply SAF that would meet the SABA Eligible criteria outlined in SABA’s Sustainability Framework. This includes SAFc delivery via a SABA Eligible registry. Once the formal RFP process is underway, offers will be expected to align with SABA’s standard commercial terms, which can be found in Annex II of the SAFc Connect Database Manual.
